Zemo Trevathan and Associates takes participants (or intact teams) through the full range of skills and areas of awareness that make up the toolbox of a Business Value Analyst. Areas covered include processes for understanding and aligning organizational and departmental strategic objectives, stakeholder management, business value awareness, integration of performance plans and performance management, choosing and tracking metrics relating specifically to business impact, business value communication strategies, and plans for ongoing evaluation.

Delivering Business Value
(1/2 day training seminar for up to 20 people)
Practical, introductory seminar for any team or department to learn how to define their own business value, gaining tools and understanding of perceptions of value, how value is created and destroyed in their environment, the stages of delivering business value, and how to measure their impact.

Communicating Business Value (1 day workshop for up to 20 people)
Customized trainings that build on the core skills and awareness established in "Delivering Business Value" and develop a team's ability to communicate and negotiate in the context of business value to the overall organization. Topics can include skills like Writing a Business Case, and Reading Financial Statements.

Writing an Effective Business Case
(1/2 day workshop for up to 20 people)
Hands-on training workshop that develops a team's ability to communicate and negotiate in the form of a business case to their clients, lines of business, or to management. Content includes exploring the essential elements of a business case, how to research and write a business case, and how to present it effectively.

Measuring Performance Metrics 101
(1/2 day workshop for up to 20 people)
Hands-on training workshop that introduces a team or department on how to properly identify and measure performance metrics that demonstrates the true business impact they have on the organization. Participants will utilize their own examples in a simulated model for measuring business impact.
